She is happily married, and loves spending quality time with her husband and family when she is not working. Also known as Vicky, she have been working in TTSH since 2008. As a Patient Information Associate (PIA), Vicky helps provide information to the visitors of TTSH in terms of giving directions, assisting to check on the visitors' appointments, locating the whereabouts of the patient the visitor is visiting and etc.

PIAs also helps to assist patients in need, for instance, helping them onto and from a wheelchair, bringing the wheelchair to the patient/visitor in need, bringing the visitors/patients to their destination should they have problems getting there on their own. She recalled an incident which happened when she first joined... She witnessed a man who collapsed in front of her counter, having fits and was turning blue. She quickly alerted A&E but the A&E staff was not sure where Vicky was located. Vicky then quickly get another staff's help to send the man to the A&E department, where he eventually was given medical attention.

Vicky enjoys her work very much as she loves to help people and feel the sense of satisfaction when seeing the smiles of the people who she assisted. Such small gestures like a smile and words of thank you will make her feel happy and satisfied.

Vicky has recently received recognition for being the top receiver during the Peer Encourage Peer program held in the month of August & September. She was one of the top three in each month and emerged as the overall winner at the end of the program. She felt more motivated and proud of herself for receiving this recognition, and felt the sense of achievement.

She aims to upgrade herself and bring up the name of PIA in the hospital in the future.
