Our First Coffee Connection Session for 2013.
It has always been a challenge for effective communication among us, evidently over our different working hours/rest days in the team. The biggest hurdle was to identify a suitable platform to share and exchange information, thoughts and issues with one another. With the effort of our executive team, we managed to put together a long list of exciting updates and launch our Coffee Connection on 13 August. We too launched our warrior's mission, pledge and service promise! During the short session, we reflected what we have done well and not so well through our staff value scoreboard and are determined to embrace positive change in how we work. Reading out appreciation letters from the public and presenting staff with the Appreciation Cheques! Akhbar presenting on PEP and Li Hoon sharing on her experience where she went the Extra Mile! I was also extremely proud of the Peer Encouragement Program that our lead PAMS have initiated. It was indeed heartening to see those appreciation messages that touched the heart! Kudos to those who have made an extra effort to praise and give thanks to those who have walked an extra mile at work. Quote from Alice: "No act is too small for one to appreciate!" In some of the closing, I had the honoured in giving our service appreciation cheques to those who were well complimented from the public! Good work to Ganaysan, Shelley, Sam and Shirley!! Keep up the good work folks! Check out the following dates for the upcoming Coffee Connection! Do you have anything to share with the team? A story to tell, a picture to share, concerns for discussion? Email me at evonne_ng@ttsh.com.sg, I could always include this for the next session. Meanwhile, have a great week ahead folks!
