The Great Egg Drop!

Hi All! We have successfully launched our First Staff Engagement activity in the month of September, The Great Egg Drop! In this month's activity, teams got together to rack their brains on how to make the safest parcel for their little baby - the Egg, when it is dropped from a height of 2 metres! All teams are equally divided and given the same amount of resources. They are then given a limited amount of time to strategize and create the parcel! This is a fun yet challenging moment because everyone has different ideas on how the best parcel should be made. This activity promotes teamwork, compromise and brain-storming! After doing up the finishing touches, the parcel is ready to be dropped! Some teams are nervous while some are confident that their Egg will emerge safe and sound! At the end, hard work pays off when all the parcels are taken apart to unveil a beautiful intact Egg! There is a huge sense of achievement in the teams. Let's look at them hard at work!

Some meaningful take-aways from the session were:

"More Brains work Wonders"

"Give and Take Ideas when doing a Task"

"Putting aside Differences to work together as a Team to achieve Goals"

"Sharing each other's Suggestions and Opinions to get Better Results"

We hope all participants had fun doing The Great Egg Drop! Most importantly, we hope that this activity has been able to show you that Teamwork means forming a great partnership between people from different walks of life, to achieve a common goal! Let's look forward to October's Staff Engagement Activity!
